Publishing Ethics

The editorial board of the scientific journal "AIC Economics and Management" consistently adheres to the COPE Code of Conduct publishing standards approved by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), and also relies on the valuable experience of authoritative international journals and publishers. In addition, the editorial policy of the scientific journal "AIC Economics and Management" is guided by the Ethical Code of the University Community of Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University and the Regulation on Academic Integrity at Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University. The editorial board of the scientific journal considers it important that all those involved in creating the scientific collection – authors, reviewers and editors – adhere to high standards regarding publication ethics.

Basic Principles

The editorial board of the scientific journal "AIC Economics and Management" adheres to the COPE Code of Conduct publishing standards approved by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and also relies on the valuable experience of authoritative international journals and publishers. In addition, the editorial policy of the scientific collection is guided by the Ethical Code of the University Community of Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University and the Regulation on Academic Integrity at Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University.

Editorial Policy

The journal's editorial board reserves the right to:

- make reductions and editorial corrections to articles while preserving the main conclusions and author's style;

- reject manuscripts that do not meet the established requirements, the journal's themes, or contain a significant number of spelling and stylistic errors;

- maintain the confidentiality of reviewers' identities;

- require authors to adhere to the principle of manuscript originality (materials cannot be simultaneously published in other publications).

The author bears full responsibility for the originality of the article text. In cases of plagiarism detection, responsibility lies with the author.

Opinions expressed in published articles may not coincide with the position of the editorial board. Reprinting and translation of articles is permitted only with the agreement of the editorial board and authors.

Publication Ethics

Adherence to ethical principles is a fundamental basis of editorial work and the review process. Prevention of unscrupulous practices such as: data falsification, plagiarism and other violations is the responsibility of all participants in the publication process: authors, editors, reviewers, publishers and scientific institutions.

Authors' Obligations

Authors are responsible for adhering to the following principles:

- provide reliable results of conducted research without using falsified data;

- guarantee the originality of research results;

- properly cite used materials with clear references to primary sources;

- not submit to the editorial board a manuscript that is under consideration in another publication or has already been published.

Copyright Protection

Article texts, tables, graphic materials and formulas are protected by copyright law.

The editorial board categorically condemns manifestations of plagiarism as a violation of copyright and scientific ethics and takes all possible measures to prevent it. In cases of plagiarism detection, authors bear responsibility.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of facts, quotations, proper names, geographical names, institution names and other information provided in the article.

Manuscript Verification Procedures

The editorial board applies systematic procedures for detecting unscrupulous practices, including:

- checking manuscripts for originality;

- multi-level peer review;

- involving industry experts to evaluate data reliability;

- continuous monitoring of publications, even after their publication.

Conflict of Interest

The journal's editorial board requires authors to provide information about the absence of conflict of interest. If there is a potential conflict of interest that may affect the interpretation of results or reviewers' judgment, authors are obligated to report it. Authors bear full responsibility for disclosing all potential conflicts of interest that may affect the objectivity of manuscript evaluation and decision-making regarding its publication.

Responsibility of Editors and Reviewers

An editor and any member of the editorial board and/or reviewer should not consider manuscripts if there are conflicts of interest arising from collaborative, competitive or other relationships with any author or institution associated with the manuscript.

The editor is obligated to require all participants in the publication process to disclose relevant competing interests. In case of discovering a conflict of interest after publication, the editorial board publishes necessary corrections. If necessary, article retraction or expression of concern may be published.

Reviewers are responsible for adhering to principles of objectivity, professionalism, impartiality and confidentiality during the evaluation of scientific articles.

Publication Retraction Policy

The journal follows clear procedures for retracting publications in cases of serious violations, including:

- proven facts of data falsification;

- detection of substantial plagiarism;

- multiple publications of the same work;

- unresolved ethical issues of research on humans or animals.

When retracting a publication, the journal ensures public notification of the reasons for retraction in order to maintain the integrity of scientific literature.
