The paper discusses methodological and organizational problems of rural development. The main problems identified demographic problem, the problem of efficient production and sustainable development issues so salt areas. The author evaluates the basic conditions that must adhere to sustainable rural development. The main theoretical and methodological approaches to effective rural development taking into account migration and globalization of the world economy. Also, special attention is paid to problems of discrimination in rural areas to provide engineering and rural infrastructure. The necessity of solving socially important functions of rural areas, there are new approaches to the content of public policy on agricultural village.
